Letters can be submitted to the city via email at email to
aharris@beavertonoregon.gov
or via the mail to PO Box 4755 Beaverton OR 97076.

Letters must be received no later than July 26, 2024 to be included in the staff report.

You can use this template to create your letter. Once you click the link, click on the "copy" button to create a new document in your google docs.

The contents of the letters should be some variety of the following:

  • Talk about the design and how it is consistent with the school and other site buildings.

  • Talk about the convenient location directly between the SB/BB fields in the middle of the site and how it will minimize impact any neighbors.

  • Talk about improved access to practice and impacts related to weather.

  • Talk about equity and how all other high schools have these facilities.

  • Anything else related to the benefits of having these facilities.

To avoid potential restrictions on the use of the facility:

  • Avoid talking about who might use the facility (outside teams, etc.)

  • Avoid talking about hours of operation

Also consider buying a brick to support the construction of our batting cages through our Legacy Fund.
